Cherry salopette with matching hairclip. It took me days to make and turned out pretty good.
This is my latest creation; cherry salopette with matching hairclip! This is the most complex thing I’ve made so far, it has an invisible zip, elastic channels in the back, button adjustable straps, the bodice is lined, and the side and shoulder straps have interfacing which I had never used before. The pattern was from Otome no sewing 2. I’m super happy with how it turned out, especially as I wasn’t sure if the style would suit me. The only thing is that I may have to add lining to the skirt; the fabric clings to tights.
I still have loads of this fabric left so my next big project will be a retro inspired top using one of the examples from Pattern Magic 1 (tying a bow 4).
You see? I’m wearing my Meta skirt again, this time for shopping.
I wear this skirt a lot, it’s really comfy. Most of my casual lolita coords are based around it.
This is a crocheted scrunchie. It took ages to make and was very fiddly and wasn’t really worth it. I still like it but I won’t be making one of these again.
I wore this to walk the dog.
I made this to match the cowl. It uses 5 different types of laces and 2 different ribbons and can be used as a hair accessory or a brooch
Combo shawl/cowl/collar thing I made from wool that I got for a dollar from a thrift store. There wasn’t enough to make a whole cowl so I used some lace fabric and trim for half of it. This means I can wear it as a collar/shawl or as a cowl.
Casual/classic lolita with a skirt and collar I made, tights from Ophanim and Leeds festival t-shirt.
