Today it rained and I dressed as a witch.
David got me this fabric when he went to Malaysia and it was so light and soft with a tropical pattern. I knew I wanted to make a summer dress with it. It’s maxi length with a draped top and a slit up the front. It took me 4 hours to make with no pattern.
I made this lace bolero using instructions from Otome no Sewing book 1. once I had translated the instructions for the parts I was unsure about it was a fairly easy make. The gathering took the longest, especially the frill on the neckline. I will wear this to the next meetup.
This is a Tippet, kind of like a cross between a scarf and a collar. I made it to have a go at loop stitch. Its very warm so I’m not going to be wearing it any time soon.
Crochet collars I have made for myself. They were quick and easy to make and I love how they look over t-shirts.
Today’s casual Lolita with messy hair.
Pro-tip: Pin a detachable collar and wristcuffs onto a t-shirt to make it look like a cutsew!
(also this is my 100th post!)
I feel like I should be going to monster girl school in this outfit!
Here’s the whole set together
Wristcuffs to go with the collar and headdress. I designed the crochet pattern myself because I couldn’t find any that looked right - I’m pretty proud at how they’ve turned out.
They can also be worn as ankle sock toppers.
